Subject: Substitute Coverage
Beginning this semester, in instances where it is necessary to request full-time faculty to provide “substitute” class coverage due to the absence of another (whether due to illness or planned/approved absence for professional development or scholarship [e.g., attendance at a scholarly or professional meeting]) the College will provide compensation for said work. We will discuss any necessary details regarding this change at the first meeting of academic department chairs.
