  1. Take advantage of early advisement and registration.

  2. Become familiar with of the Queensborough Community College catalog for your reference. The catalog contains pertinent information not only about your major, but also college policies and procedures.

  3. Start thinking about and exploring your co-major.

  4. Meet with an academic advisor on a regular basis to receive current information about the program.

  5. Take advantage of the academic support services available to you; i.e. the Writing and Math Tutors specifically for LE1 majors.

  6. Attend the program information sessions.

  7. When in doubt about the program requirements, see the academic advisor. Do not take your friends word.
