Questions
A
good question for a student to post in the discussion area is one that
will require students to use their critical analysis skills.
A
good question will require the respondent to demonstrate both factual
knowledge of the content and a comprehension of how the knowledge applies
to the humans.
It
should not be a simple "look-up in the textbook" question or
just a "what's your opinion?" question. Here is an example of the kind of question I am looking for from you. How are Hindus like the Buddhists? Why do people believe in a deity? Why do people believe if there is no evidence or really stromg proof or argument to support the belief in a deity? Is it possible for people to be moral if they are not religious? Here are other examples of a good questions:What might motivate any person to participate in a religion? What possible meaning is there to religious claims about a non-physical realm?
You
must post your class-discussion questions in the 'Discussion' area.)
This
question requires knowledge (What The Greeks at the time of Socrates were
facing), comprehension (applying the knowledge to a personal example), and
critical analysis (What are the issues involved in asking these
questions?) I will evaluate the quality of your discussion questions, as well as the quality (and quantity) of your answers to the questions asked by me and the other students. |
