Undergraduate Liberal Arts & Science Requirements for NYS Initial Certificate in Childhood Education

The Dual/Joint Program is designed to assure timely completion of degree requirements. Students will earn the Associates of Arts in Liberal Arts from Queensborough and then proceed to Queens College where they will complete the degree requirements for the Bachelor of Arts with Elementary Education Certification and an academic major. You must have earned your AA degree in the Dual/Joint Program at Queensborough Community College in order to be eligible to transfer to Queens College and matriculate into the Elementary Education Program . Also to ensure that all of your credits transfer to Queens College you must have earned your degree at Queensborough Community College.
