Thomas Tam, Ph.D., M.P.H., was the first Executive Director of the Asian American/Asian Research Institute, and first-ever Asian member of the CUNY Board of Trustees. Administered by the Asian American/Asian Research Institute, the CUNY Thomas Tam Scholarship helps support and recognize an individual CUNY undergraduate student, Asian or non-Asian, who has demonstrated creativity in the communication of the concerns of the Asian American community in areas such as Health, Education and Culture.
All currently enrolled CUNY undergraduate students are eligible to apply for the Thomas Tam Scholarship.
The display of this communication can be in the form of written reports, film, video, new media techniques, and the development of performances or materials in the Arts and Sciences.
The following are the issues to be addressed in your application for the Tam Scholarship. Please be sure to cover all of the points in your application.

The new Transfer Honors program at Queens Colleges offer exciting scholarship and academic opportunities for transfer students with a GPA of 3.3 or higher.
Students can still apply for spring 14 as well as for the fall 14 term. Priority admission for the spring 14 term will be given to applications received by Dec 10. But, because this is a new program, we are using a rolling admissions process and will continue to accept applications into early Jan.
In addition to applying for CUNY and designating QC as the first choice, students must submit a supplemental application and faculty recommendation. The link to the supplemental application is available at the bottom of the page: http://transfer.qc.cuny.edu/explore-queens/honors/
