INFORMATION ON ESIMS WEB REGISTRATION SYSTEM

Queensborough Community College Esims Web Registration / Online Information System is a good way to track your progress here at the college! By logging into Esims from anywhere, you can access and actively manage your own student information right over the web.

Services now available:

Registration for your classes.
Submit an online Meningitis Response Form.

You may also view and print:

Your class schedule.
Open Sections using CUNY eSchedule.
Your UNOFFICIAL bill.
Your UNOFFICIAL transcript
Final grades for recent and past semesters.
Financial information (tuition balances, fees and financial aid awards).

TO REGISTER USING ESIMS

Your computer must be:

Any modern PC or Apple based computer or laptop. MS Windows 98 is the preferred minimum OS.
A dial-up, broadband or wireless connection to the internet. This may be a direct connection or through any internet provider (AOL, Earthlink etc.)
Any current commercially available browser. Due to Esims 128-bit security encryption strength, it is strongly recommended that you use a browser capable of supporting 128-bit encryption. Microsoft's Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher and Netscape 6.0 or higher are ideal browsers utilizing the latest 128-bit encryption technology.

Your record must have:

No STOPS (A message screen will state you have a STOP on your record and where to resolve the stop. You cannot proceed until the stop is removed from your redord).
Immunization and Meningitis documents on file with the Health Services Medical Arts building Room MC-02. You may submit a Meningitis Response Form on eSIMS.

Before logging in to Esims, you should have:

Your 9-digit Social Security Number or QCC assigned ID number.
Your 6-digit PIN number.
A list of the courses you wish to register for. Each semester's Schedule of Classes is posted on the Queensborough website: http://www.qcc.cuny.edu/CourseSchedule/CourseScheduleFormInit.asp

The 4-digit course code for each course you are registering for.

WHAT IS MY PIN?

In order to ensure the security of academic information when using the Esims web registration, all students must use their social security (or assigned student id) number along with a Personal Identification Number (PIN). You PIN has initially been set to your date of birth (DDMMYY.)

How do I change my PIN?

Esims WEB REGISTRATION allows you to proceed to log in with your original PIN number. However, for the HIGHEST security, you should CHANGE your PIN number once logged-in by using the 'Change Pin' Option on the left menu of the screen:

	1. Click your mouse on the 'Change Pin' menu option.
2. Enter your current PIN. Type in a new 6 digit PIN number tthat is DIFFERENT from your current PIN. Use 6 digits only, no characters. Type them again to confirm, and then click the 'SUBMIT' button.

What happens if I forget my PIN?

You must go to the Registrar’s Offices in the Administration Building, Room 104 to your PIN reset to your date of birth. This process must be done in person, during regular business hours and you must present valid photo ID such as a QCC College ID card or driver's license.
