In films, Grier can be seen in Boomerang, Jumanji, Return To Me, Streamers, Bewitched, Tiptoes and The Woodsman. The stand-up comedian was recently nominated for a Tony Award for his portrayal of Sporting Life in the opera Porgy and Bess.
