While every student in America learns about World War II, not many people know that in 1938, as the Nazis rose to power, thousands of Jewish children were forced to leave their parents their homes and everything they knew and loved. Most of them would never see their mothers and fathers again. Anne L. Fox was one of these children. She left on the Kindertransport when she was twelve years old. Years later, she would record her experiences in a survivor's book called My Heart in a Suitcase. Now ArtsPower National Touring Theatre is bringing Ms. Fox's moving autobiography to the stage to teach young people the importance of combating intolerance and motivate children to love and respect all their fellow human beings. 55 minutes, Drama for grades 4-8
