Making Books Sing is a children’s theatre and arts education organization.  We are passionate about exciting children, ages 4-14, about great literature and theatre as sources of knowledge, creative imagination and entertainment.  At the heart of Making Books Sing are fully realized plays, musical and operas whose artistry is as high and content as through-provoking as fine theatre for adult audiences.  Our productions are based on outstanding contemporary children’s books that honor children – their struggles growing-up, their cultural diversity and their intellect.
