With every production, new Queensborough theatergoers discover what many already know – QPAC is a theater like no other, where world-class entertainment is enjoyed locally!

As part of our efforts to help everyone access the arts, and in response to a distinct lack of options for the thousands of deaf children and parents across New York City, QPAC offers a series of sign language-interpreted family shows. The program launched in December 2005 and to date has attracted more than 125 deaf and hard of hearing individuals. Additionally, we have made great strides with our innovative programming, outreach within the community, arts-in-residence professional children's theatre company, 70% increase in subscribers, partnerships within the tourism industry, increase in student employment, creation of our new website (www.visitqpac.org) and on-line ticketing services.
QPAC, while attracting the best talent, has remained an economical entertainment choice for working folks, the younger generation and the senior population whose loyalty the success of our series was built upon. Since its establishment in 1965, the Queensborough Performing Arts Center has been a cultural beacon for the community.
QPAC is located in the borough of Queens, where more than 2.2 million people reside in dozens of distinct and unique neighborhoods. Neighborhoods which make up the most diverse county in the country, to which QPAC responds by providing residents and visitors with access to some of the richest cultural experiences anywhere in the world.

This coming season is no exception and is marked by fresh, innovative programs that reflect our community and the world in which we live.
The challenges of maintaining such programs remain great. Your support is critical to our continued success. Please consider joining our family of sponsors. – Susan Agin, Executive and Artistic Director.
