Dear Friends,

An endowment for Student Success is being established in honor of Dr. Diane Bova Call as she completes 47 years of service at Queensborough Community College and retires as the College's president on August 31st.

The funds will be used to support Queensborough students by helping them to complete their associate degrees on a timely basis and graduate within two years of enrollment as a degree student. Scholarships and financial support for student educational expenses, such as transportation costs, text books/instructional materials/supplies, and instructional fees make a huge difference in keeping students continuously enrolled and engaged with their studies.

One of the hallmarks of Dr. Call's career has been her unwavering commitment to public higher education and making it possible for people from all different backgrounds to have the opportunity to succeed.

If you would like to honor Dr. Call's lifetime of dedication to the students at Queensborough Community College, I hope that you will join members of our faculty, staff and retirees, along with our current students and alumni, the College's Foundation and Alumni Association, and the many, many members of our greater local community by making a tax deductible contribution to the Queensborough Community College (QCC) Fund, Inc. in her honor.  The funds will be earmarked for the Endowment for Student Success which will subsequently be brought forward to the CUNY Board of Trustees to be named in her honor.

Please make your check payable to the QCC Fund, Inc./Endowment for Student Success and on the memo line, please write In Honor of Dr. Call.

Sincerely,

Mark Kupferberg, Chairman
