Queensborough Community College Launches New Dynamic Website
On Wednesday, Queensborough Community College launched its new dynamic website. The redesign is fully “responsive,” meaning it reformats automatically across all platforms: desktop, tablet, mobile device and even Internet-enabled smart television.
“We have created a strong platform that blends creativity with functionality for the site’s millions of visitors, including the nearly 50% who visit the site from a mobile device each year,” said Stephen Di Dio, Executive Director of Marketing and Communications at Queensborough Community College. “The site provides outstanding usability and proudly reflects the engagement and excitement of our campus community.”
For the last year, the entire Marketing and Communications team has worked around the clock to optimize the functionality and design aesthetic of the more than 10,000-page College website.
The visual elements have been transformed through the use of professional, in-house photography. The College’s web services and creative directors have established brand-centric, cross-utilization and graphic elements for the home page as well as major landing pages and the embedded College cultural center websites. The website content and copy editing ensures consistency of tone, message delivery, and accuracy of information.
