Undergraduate Research Program in Mathematics and Computer Science

If you are interested in studying an advanced topic in Mathematics or Computer Science, something you wouldn’t see in an ordinary course, then consider taking on an undergraduate research project.  You can work one-on-one with a faculty mentor with expertise in that field.

Involvement with research projects will be recognized on your transcript via one or both of the 2 credit honors sections courses MA905 and MA906: Undergraduate Research in Mathematics and/or Computer Science I and II.

To discuss the possibility of starting a project this or next semester, contact Dr. Andrew Bulawa (abulawa@qcc.cuny.edu, Room S-324) or Dr. Azita Mayeli (amayeli@qcc.cuny.edu, Room S-349).
