Teaching Philosophy:
- For more than 25 years as a writer, researcher and professor, Rosemary has been educating both children and adults on topics related to their health.
Scholarly Achievements:
- Rosemary has authored more than 20 articles on health education and health promotion in national magazines and in newspapers across the country. She has authored two workbooks, Examining Concepts in Health and Examining Concepts in Sexuality. Her scholarly work has been presented at national and international conferences including the Institute for Community College Development at Cornell University.
- A specialist in sexuality education, Rosemary is certified by the Association of Sex Educators, Counselors and Therapists as a sex educator. She has served as a consultant for Planned Parenthood of Nassau County and lectures extensively on sexual victimization.
