Dr. Sarah Danielsson is an Associate Professor of History

She received her BA in History and Philosophy from City College (2000) and her PhD in History from the University of Minnesota (2005).

Research and teaching interests include, modern European intellectual history, history of Nationalism and Nation-States, history of genocide, modern central European history, trans-national history, history of ideas.

Member of the International Network of Genocide Scholars (INoGS), German Studies Association (GSA), American Historical Association (AHA), Society for French Historical Studies (SFHS).

Associate Editor of Journal of Genocide Research, an international peer-reviewed journal published by Taylor and Francis, Oxford.

Currently running a National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) funded seminar series, entitled "Genocide, Justice and Human Rights," during the 2012-2013 Academic Year.

Courses Taught: Modern European History; Modern Western Civilizations; History of the Holocaust; History of Genocide in the Twentieth Century.
