Spring 2015 Direct Admission is Now Open!

Direct Admission enables you to still apply for the Spring 2015 semester. Although the priority deadline for admission has passed, the Office of Admissions will continue to accept complete applications on a space available basis. You will need to complete the Direct Admission process in-person in the Office of Admissions. No appointment is necessary, please feel free to walk-in to our office on campus. Please note: Students who have completed all or part of their education outside the United States and U.S. territories cannot file directly for admission at the college. You must apply through the University Processing Center (UAPC) for the Fall 2015 semester. Please click here for more information.

What Do I Need to Apply?

To apply to Queensborough, you must submit the following directly to the Office of Admissions:

Transfer Applicants

You are considered a transfer applicant if you have attended any college, university, and/or proprietary school since graduating from high school. This applies whether or not you are seeking transfer credit and/or changing a program of study.

  • Official transcripts from all institutions attended. An official transcript must be in a sealed envelope from the institution issuing it. If the institution will not give you an official transcript, please have it mailed to the address below. If you have the transcript mailed directly to you, please do not open it. Once opened, it is no longer official.
  • If you are a CUNY student, you do not need to request a copy of their transcript to send to us, we will have access to your transcript.
  • If you are eligible for admissions, you will be required to pay a nonrefundable commitment deposit of $100 that will be deducted from your tuition before you are allowed to register for classes.  If you want to speed up the process, you may bring a check or money order with you.
  • Application fee of $70 (USD). Payable by credit card or money order; no cash.

Freshman Applicants

You are considered a freshman applicant if you have not previously attended any college, university, and/or proprietary school since graduating high school.

  • Official high school transcript from all high schools attended, or original GED Diploma with score sheet attached. An official transcript must be in a sealed envelope from the institution issuing it. If the high school will not give you an official transcript, please have it mailed to the address below. If you have the transcript mailed directly to you, please do not open it. Once opened, it is no longer official.
  • If you are eligible for admissions, you will be required to pay a nonrefundable commitment deposit of $100 that will be deducted from your tuition before you are allowed to register for classes.  If you want to speed up the process, you may bring a check or money order with you.
  • Application fee of $65 (USD). Payable by credit card, check or money order; no cash
