Her area of Specialization is Brechtian and missionary theater in Brazil, and Latin American Cultures. An ex-officer of the AATG Metro-NY Chapter for a decade, she is now a member of the AATG CC Task Force, the QCC Study Abroad Advisory Committee, and eLearning Team. She is a FL representative at the CUNY Council of World Language Study. She has published articles in refereed journals and two books: Brecht's Reception in Brazil, 1995, and her translation of Imperialismo Sedutor (The Seduction of Brazil) Texas UP, 2009.
