Students who are interested in applying for Federal Work-Study (FWS) for Fall 2014/Spring 2015 must complete a 2014-2015 FAFSA and indicate an interest in Work-Study. Also, the student must complete a CUNY Supplement form (found within the Student Self-Service area of CUNYfirst).
There are both on-campus and off-campus jobs available for eligible students. The on-campus pay rate is currently $8.75 an hour, effective for 2015. The off-campus pay rate varies depending on the job. You are paid only for hours worked in the job in which we place you, and you may not work beyond your award. Work-Study students may work up to 20 hours a week.

**Please make sure that you “Accept” your award before you come in for placement
Work-Study appointments will take place February 3rd, 4th and 5th, 2015. Appointments can be made at the front desk, starting February 2nd, 2015.
When you come in for placement, you must bring all required documents with you.
Employee’s Federal Withholding Form (W-4 Form)
Employee’s New York State Withholding Forms (complete one of the following)
Employment Eligibility Verification (I-9 Form) (Please review the checklist of acceptable identification to be submitted with the I-9. Documents must be up to date and not expired)
