Faculty Biography - David Rothman

David Rothman is a native New Yorker. He earned a B.A. in US History and an M.A. in English at the University of Wisconsin. He is currently working on a doctorate in linguistics at The City University of New York (CUNY) Graduate Center. David has studied overseas in Sweden and has taught abroad in both Spain and The Czech Republic. He is a published short story writer and is currently co-writing a Reading skills textbook with departmental colleague, Jilani Warsi. David is proud of the role he plays as QCC's Chief Reader of the ACT Writing Examination. He is glad to be part of the QCC Basic Skills team.
