NAMI WALKS- May 5, 2012
Members of the Counseling Center, along with students, QCC Staff and others showed their support for Mental Health Awareness by participating in NAMI Walks on Saturday May, 5th at Jones Beach. The goals of NAMIWalks are to fight the stigma that surrounds mental illness and to raise funds for NAMI so that they can continue their mission.  Despite the rain, hundreds of people showed up to walk and show their support.  The QCC Counseling Center Team raised over $800 to support the cause.  For more information about NAMI and/or to donate, please CLICK HERE.
