Teachers Assistants

Description: The position hours are from 8am-3pm. We do have flexibility with hours as the school is open from 7:30-6:00pm depending on need for of the school at the time but usually 8:00am to 3:00pm. You will need a high school diploma and work well with children.

Special Skills & Requirements 1. Assist in running a routine circle-time, music time, book/reading time or gross motor activity. 2. Carrying out play routines focusing on specific IEP goals. 3.Working on specific IEP or curriculum objectives during 1:1 work small group work and play centers. 4. Assisting in preparation of ABA, PECS, and/or activity schedules. 5.Assisting the teacher in using augmentative communication devices. 6. Assisting in data collection to track all IEP, curriculum objectives, ABA data and activity schedule goals. 7. Assisting the teacher to plan lessons based on IEP goals and curriculum objectives.
