Educational Coordinator

Description: The educational coordinator plays a valuable role in the program ensuring that the program is aligned with NYS Common Core Standards. She/he will work closely with school administration and the site director to create and sustainan integrated system of services, partnerships and programs to help all OST participants achieve at a high level and a receive well-rounded education.

Salary $41/hr

Special Skills & Requirements Qualifications: • Master’s degree in education; • Teaching experience and deep knowledge of school’s curriculum and instructional approaches; • Experience developing curriculum and delivering professional development and coaching educators; • Strong Organizational Skills • Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as group facilitation skills; • The ability and interest in working with the entire student population, families and community partners; • Familiarity with youth development and experience working with partnerships preferred
