The document control coordinator

Description: The document control coordinator position collects, maintains and distributes all documents necessary to define product configuration and control manufacturing processes that insure conformance to customer requirements; develops and maintains a comprehensive filing system and computer database for all documents to be retained in the document control center; manages the operation of the document control center to ensure that all users have the latest revision of appropriate documentation in a timely manner. Essential Functions: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. 1.Attend weekly progress and coordination meetings to manage documentation to ensure organization and accuracy. 2.Download/upload project information into the database for entry into Buzz Saw. 3.Maintain field office project files (paper and electronic) and scan paper documents as needed. 4.Update plans and specifications with latest revisions from the designer and other as-built information under direction of field staff. 5.Prepare basic correspondence and spreadsheets as required. 6.Analyze data to identify or resolve operational problems. 7.Document operational procedures and technical specifications to ensure compliance with regulations or standard operating procedures. 8.Timely distribution of latest revision level documentation to all appropriate users and ensure that obsolete documentation is removed from distribution. 9.Maintain a computer database of all filed documentation that ensures fast retrieval of documents. 10.Perform clerical typing duties to generate documents as necessary.

The noise level in the work environment may range from moderate to loud. This position may be performed in outside weather conditions. This job also operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Travel Ability to travel to various jobs sites and Envision offices as needed. Preferred Education and Experience •Must have a minimum of 3 years' experience on the job training and exposure •AA degree in Infrastructure and business is desired •Project Management skills ( Blue Mint, scheduling, cost estimating, development) •Experience using Microsoft Office Suite software is required •Experience with document management database systems is preferred •Good written and verbal communication skills solid organizational and planning skills •Familiarity with engineering and construction related terminology •Report writing experience a plus (SQL, HTML, Crystal Reports, BI Publisher) •Field experience a plus but not required.
