Description: • CUNY Citizenship Now! is looking for one phone operator to answer calls at our Central Administrative Office. The operator will mainly be pre-screening and registering callers for our citizenship events. • Location: CUNY Citizenship Now! Central Administrative Office, 101 W. 31st Street, New York, NY 10001 • Hours: 19 hours per week during regular business hours (Mon-Fri, 9 am-5 pm) • Compensation: $15.00/hour

We provide free, high quality, and confidential citizenship and immigration law services to all New Yorkers. Under the leadership of Professor Allan Wernick, CUNY Citizenship Now’s attorneys and paralegals assist more than 10,000 individuals each year at our centers and more than 2,100 at our community based events. We also coordinate community, educational, and volunteer initiatives to help expand opportunities for New York City’s immigrant population. We serve the community in many languages, including Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean, Polish, French, Haitian Creole and Italian. We currently provide services in the offices of more than 30 New York City Council Members and designsted community-based organizations, thanks to funding from the City Council.
