ENTRY LEVEL SALES ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

Description: OEC Group is currently looking for Spring 2017 graduates to join the New York Sales team! We offer a full training program to all Entry Level Sales Account Executives, you do not need to have prior experience within the industry. During your first year of employment with OEC Group, you will work 1:1 with some of our top Sales Account Executives to enhance your training experience. You will be responsible for providing information to prospective customers on the company's logistics/shipping services. As a Sales Account Executive for one of the leading freight forwarders in the industry, OEC Group will provide you with an opportunity to build a book of business and gain knowledge about the shipping/logistics industry. You'll be responsible for prospecting, engaging and closing new accounts with the help of our Outside and Inside Sales Team. In addition, coordinate with our Inside Sales Team to assist with optimizing the sales process.

Special Skills & Requirements Developing relationships with customers and generating new business. Soliciting OEC Group's services which include Ocean Import, Air Import, Ocean Export, Air Export, Distribution & Warehousing, LTL Transportation and Cargo Insurance and Customs Brokerage. Responsible for meeting the monthly quotas given by Sales Upper Management. Assisting the Accounts Receivable Department with tracking payments from customer base. Forming a customer base by cold calling, issuing quotes, preparing bids and making formal presentations to prospective customers. Monitor and follow up with all accounts through the CRM Sugar. Maintaining constant communication with the Operations/Customer Service Departments and overseas offices.
