Using Socrative to Engage Our Students

This workshop introduces participants to Socrative (, which is an easy-to-use free web-based student response system that allows teachers to carry out formative assessment in the classroom through a range of activities which include the Quick Question Response, Student-paced quiz, Lecturer-paced Quiz and Team Quiz consisting of Multiple Choice, True or False and Short Answer questions. Students can respond anonymously to these questions using smartphones, tablets or laptops. The software provides immediate feedback to encourage interaction and engagement also includes a reporting facility Who should attend: All faculty members.
