The 2003 recipient of the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, Nilo Cruz's Anna in the Tropics celebrates the search for identity in a new land. This lush romantic drama depicts a family of Cuban cigar makers whose loves and lives are transformed and forever altered when Leo Tolstoy's Anna Karenina is read to them within the factory's walls.
