QPAC Teatro Lirico D' Europa’s: La Traviata!

One of the world’s most-popular operas performed in Italian with English Supertitles, La Traviata tells the true story of a scandalous love affair between a famed Parisian courtesan and a naïve nobleman. Giuseppe Verdi’s music animates the world of Violetta, the beautiful courtesan who must abandon her beloved Alfredo to save his family's honor.  Powerfully moving melodies will break your heart as the ill-fated lovers are torn apart by societal pressures, misunderstanding, and ultimately death.  Ravishing melodies, beautiful costumes, colorful sets, a powerhouse cast, and an evocative orchestration abound in Verdi's romantic opera.

$42, $39, $35
