Description:

QPAC Presents Russian National Ballet "Swan Lake"

Simply one of the greatest classical ballets of all time, Swan Lake (with magnificent music by Tchaikovsky) is based on a German fairy tale and follows the heroic young Prince Siegfried, as he labors to free the delicately beautiful swan maiden Odette, from an evil sorcerer's spell.  The
Russian National Ballet, founded in Moscow in the late 1980’s, presents this full-length ballet in four acts.  Swan Lake, with choreography by Marius Petips and Lev Ivanov, is being performed by the troupe's principal dancers from the ranks of Russia's top companies.

The Russian National Ballet, Directed by Elena Radchenko, is a cut above many of its rivals. Their "Swan Lake" is the real thing." Alexandera Tomalonis- WashingtonPost

$42, $39
