Lauren C. Santangelo is a Lecturer at Princeton University, where she teaches in the Writing Program. She earned her Ph.D. from CUNY’s Graduate Center and held a Bernard and Irene Schwartz Postdoctoral Fellowship at the New-York Historical Society/New School. Her scholarship has appeared in the Hudson River Valley Review. Her manuscript on suffrage and the city, tentatively entitled, The “Feminized” City: New York and Suffrage, 1870-1917, is under contract with Oxford University Press and she has an article forthcoming in New York History
