In this Common Read event, Dr. Lopez-Jantzen and Dr. Nichols will discuss Puerto Rican history, from the Spanish colonization of Puerto Rico to the creation of the contemporary Puerto Rican community in New York. The main theme for the discussion will be 'perseverance' in Puerto Rican history. Presented by: Dr. Nicole Lopez-Jantzen and Dr. James Nichols
