Description:

Opening reception for Carving Life: Walrus Ivory Carvings from the Bering Sea. The exhibition provides an intimate perspective of Alaskan sculpture in the context of both artist and audience. The sculpture selected focuses on the walrus ivory carvings and carvers of western Alaska, of the coast and islands of the Bering Sea. The exhibit will be on view from October 18, 2017 - January 17, 2018.
