A Campus Conversation: Technology Enabled Collaboration
International Collaboration through
an Online Course: Queens College in Vietnam
Students in remote parts of the world are eager to learn English from native
speakers. How can we service those who need access and are not able to
relocate? Queens College, partnering with a government organization in Vietnam,
created and launched a 10-week online course using the Epsilen platform,
connecting students in Vietnam with students and a teacher in New York City.
Challenges in international collaboration, design and implementation discussed.
Participants encouraged to share experiences.

Students Share Reflections on E-Portfolio Learning Experiences
This session features an interdisciplinary group of Queensborough Community
College e-Learning space pioneers who will share their dynamic ePortfolio
practices. The theoretical sources of inspiration, practical experiences, and
successful strategies that have evolved over the course of their experimental
work in social pedagogy using eportfolio tools will be outlined within the
context of the Social Pedagogies Model developed by Bass and Elmendorf (2012).
