Denise Irby, a teen who will do a reading titled "The Birth", about giving birth in shackles during her incarceration.

TJ Parsell, writer, a filmmaker, and human rights activist committed to ending prison rape.
Angelo Pinto, Juvenile Justice Project of the Correctional Association of New York, who will do an introduction to New York State’s "Raise the Age Campaign"

In addition, a roundtable of scenes and memories presented by Prison Families Anonymous and Herstory Writers Workshop

New York also prosecutes 13-, 14- and 15-year olds charged with certain serious offenses as adults. Every year, over 45,000 16- and 17- year-olds are arrested as adults in New York State. Because they are defined by the law as adults, these youth can be questioned by the police without parental notification and confined alongside adults in prisons and jails.
