Research Intensive Courses at QCC

Why take Research Intensive/Honors Courses?

Students who are interested in excelling in any of the STEM fields should consider taking the courses listed below. They are required for AS Biotechnology Curriculum. Students getting an AS Degree in Liberal Arts and Science can also take BI356, BI453 towards their majors requirement.

Students will learn hands on techniques in molecular biology and the skills learnt are transferable to several senior colleges in the area.  Students will also learn to exert analytical skills and enhance their scientific writing skills.
