Assessment Institute

A collaboration between Academic Affairs and Strategic Planning, Assessment, and Institutional Effectiveness, the Assessment Institute is a four-day faculty workshop, over four consecutive weeks early in the semester, that covers assessment theory and campus practice, from institutional to programmatic to course-level assessment. Issues of accreditation and pedagogical research are also covered. At the end of the institute, faculty produce an assessment plan for course assessment and, at the end of the semester, a full course assessment report.
