Dr. Victor Fichera

Dr. Victor Fichera, the Principal Investigator for the Academy Assessment Protocol, has been employed at Queensborough Community College since 2001. From the City University of New York, he received a B.A. degree in Economics and Psychology and a Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology. For the past 17 years he has been employed in fields involving research and measurement within academic settings. He conducted and published Psychophysiological research while at Baruch College, designed and validated licensure tests at the New York City Board of Education, and served as the Testing Director at Queensborough. In his current position in Office of Institutional Research and Assessment, he assesses the effectiveness of the Queensborough Academies, as well as other college initiatives.
