During the 2008-2009 athletic seasons, points were awarded to the school that collects the most CUNY Championships or Runner up Awards.

The QCC Men’s Baseball Team participated in the CUNY Championships @ Keyspan Park (Brooklyn Cyclone Stadium, Coney Island) on Wednesday, 4/29/09. The Tiger’s battled, but lost to Bronx CC by a score of 5-4. For a game summary, please click on the CUNY Website @ http://www.qcc.cuny.edu/
Yesterday, on 5/6/09 the Tigers played Bronx CC in a one game playoff. The Tigers defeated Bronx CC 10-2 and will advance to the Regional Tournament on 5/8-5/10 @ Suffolk CC.
The Winner of the Regional Tournament will advance to the in Tyler, Texas on 5/16-5/22/09.

The QCC Women’s “Fast Pitch” Softball Team played Monroe College in a Playoff Game on Tuesday, 4/28/09. The Lady Tigers battled, but eventually fell to Monroe College.
Monroe College, Westchester CC, Dutchess CC & Suffolk CC all advanced to the Regional Championships @ Westchester CC on 5/1 - 5/3/09.
Congratulations to Suffolk CC. They were declared the Regional Champions and will participate in the College World Series in Rochester, Minnesota on 5/14-5/16/09.

The QCC Men’s Baseball Team will play three games @ Keyspan Park, the home of the Brooklyn Cyclones (weather permitting).
On Friday, 4/3/09… QCC will play Kingsborough CC at 3:30 pm.
On Saturday, 4/4/09… QCC will play Kingsborough CC in a Double Header at 12:00 pm.
Please invite anyone you wish. Admission is free of charge.

The QCC Men’s & Women’s Outdoor Track Team will start the 2009 Season on Saturday, 3/14/09.
QCC will be hosting the annual Community College Relays @ 11:00 am.

The QCC Tigers will be playing Home Games (revised schedule attached) at American Legion Field (directions also attached), Benjamin Cardozo High School (located directly across the street from the QCC Main Entrance) & Keyspan Park (Brooklyn Cyclone Field).

The QCC Women’s Softball Alumni Game scheduled for Sunday, 3/8/09 @ the QCC Soccer Field has been cancelled due to the recent Snow Storm.
This game will not be rescheduled.

The QCC Men’s & Women’s Indoor Track Team participated in the CUNY Championships on, Sunday, 2/28/09 @ the Armory, NYC.
Both Teams (Men’s Team & Women’s Team) were declared Community College CUNY Champions.

Four members of the Men’s Swim Team (Daniel Armstrong, Travis Dolderer, Reuven Ilyayev & Clinton Moran) have qualified and will participate in the NJCAA Swimming National Championships @ Erie CC on 3/3-3/8/09.

On 3/1/09, the QCC Men’s & Women’s Indoor Track Team will compete in the CUNY Championships @ the Armory at 5:00 pm.
Five members of the Men’s Indoor Track Team (Adrian Davis, Jean Desrosiers, Kouri Falconer, Alex Medina & Rafael Nunez) have qualified and will participate in the NJCAA Indoor Track National Championships @ Texas Tech on 3/5-3/8/09.

On 2/24/09, The Lady Tigers were defeated by Nassau CC by a score of 65-58. Nassau CC will advance to the Final 4 Tournament @ Sullivan CC on 2/27/09. Congratulations to Nassau CC. We wish them the best of luck in the tournament.

On 2/17/09, the defeated Bronx CC on their home court in a one game playoff.
The Tigers advance to the CUNY Tournament and will play tonight (2/18/09), against Hostos CC.
Tip off for this game is scheduled for 7:30 pm. The winner of this game will advance to the CUNY Championships on Friday, 2/20/09 at 7:30 pm @ Hostos CC (opponent TBA).
