Good question!  Here is the answer and in a good bit of detail.  First though, you should know that although all of this looks very imposing and somewhat daunting this course should actually turn out to be quite a bit of fun, if you are interested in thinking about things in new ways. 

  • 1. Completing the TEN STEPS: 4%

  • 2. Class Participation & Class Discussion: 36%

  • 3. Written Assignments (12 Papers):  60%

FINAL GRADE   THIS IS DETERMINED BY THE TOTAL POINTS A STUDENT EARNS BY THE END OF THE SEMESTER.

P=Attending class   1 points each class meeting                      TOTAL = 12

S=speaking in class  1 point each class                                    TOTAL = 12

Q= Asking a question during class  1 point each class          TOTAL =12

A= Assignment  5 points each                                                  TOTAL = 60
