I can't remember my password. What do I do?

If you forgot your password you have to request a new one from CUNY. The following steps will walk you through requesting a new password. You must have a valid CUNY Portal username to request a password.

1. Go to the CUNY Portal Login page

2. Click on the Forgot Your Password? link

3. Enter your CUNY Portal Username (click here if you forgot your username)

4. Click on E-mail Password

5. Wait 2 minutes

6. Check your email which you used during Portal Registration. If you are a student, this MAY BE your Queensborough Community College Tiger Mail account. If you are faculty and staff, this MAY BE your Queensborough Community College email address. If you are not sure of your email address, use the Forgot your Username page to verify your email address.

7. Your new password will be a series of numbers. This will help you log in at the Portal. Please write this down along with your Portal username.

8. Please view the FAQs page for steps on changing your password.

Only after checking the FAQs page and ensuring you are using your VALID username, should you do the following:

• Send an email to BBSupport@qcc.cuny.edu
• Include in your email the following:
  • Your First Name
  • Your Last Name
  • Your Date of Birth
  • An email address
• Once you click submit, someone from Blackboard Support at Queensborough will get back to you.
