Letters were sent to all high school teachers by the Section Office.  Nominations were sent to Joan LIddell, who sent the full application to the nominated teachers.  Applications were returned.  At the beginning of August, the application packets were sent to the Nichols Jury members with a return request for the beginning of September.  The members were Harry Kranepool, Richard Goodman, Josephine Parlagreco and Harvey Wiener.

The unanimous vote was for Rebecca Isseroff.

At the September Board meeting, I announced Rebecca Isseroff as the winner.  Due to religious observances, Rebecca could not receive her award at the Annual Meeting in January.  I read a summary of the criteria and references given for Rebecca.  The award will be presented at a  Long Island Section meeting.  We sent her bio to qualify for the Conant Award.
