By all standards the event was successful.  Speakers were excellent and comments by attendees were universally positive.  Approximately 70 people attended the environmental conference.  Unlike most LIACS events, there was a charge for attendance at the Sterrett Symposium, twenty-five dollars for ACS members and thirty-five dollars for non-members, helping to defray hospitality costs.  In addition, an allocation from the New York Section helped to cover the mailing costs for this event.
