MECHANICAL ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY

A.A.S Degree Program

A TAC of ABET ACCREDITED ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY CURRICULUM

Mechanical Engineering Technology students receive the academic foundation so critical for success in today’s workplace gaining practical experience and career-specific skills needed for career success. Graduates of this program are known as engineering technicians. Their job is to help transform theories and ideas into workable products, machines, structures, and processes. Engineering Technicians are qualified to work in areas such as jet and rocket engines, manufacturing processes, automobiles, air conditioning and refrigeration units, heat and power equipment, tools, instruments, motors, electromechanical devices, computer equipment and aerospace vehicles. This two-year AAS degree program is highly respected as it is fully accredited by the Technology Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (TAC/ABET).
