The Media Services unit of the Library provides audio-visual equipment, material, presentations and technical assistance for the entire campus. Video tapings and productions may be scheduled in the TV studio (LB16) or on location when personnel and equipment are available. Media Services may be offered in one of the media classrooms, located in the Library basement or at another campus site.
To obtain Media Services, a Media Service Request form must be completed and submitted. These forms are available in the Media Services Office (LB-16), or ONLINE (Click on GO below). For further information, contact Senior CLT, Thomas Shemanski or CLT, Ramón Pérez, at 718-631-6271.
Completed requests will be processed, and written confirmation will be sent on a first come, first served basis. The returned pink copy of the request form will acknowledge approval and indicate scheduling.
All requests are subject to the availability of equipment, personnel and rooms. There are no time restrictions, and last minute requests are accepted provided that availability criteria are met. However, requests received a few weeks in advance are more likely to be approved.
It is important to note that room reservations may be subject to change if required by the needs of the college.
