CONFERENCES
During the spring of 2003, the Holocaust Resource Center has assumed an even greater role as a training resource for educators. Three teaching institutes are slated:

April 27 - TEACHING THE HOLOCAUST
Providing teachers of Social Studies and English with a comprehensive introduction to key components of teaching the Holocaust to middle and high school students.

July 1 to 3 and 7 to 10 - TEACHER TRAINING INSTITUTE
The Institute will develop a cadre of teachers who are knowledgeable in the subject of the Holocaust and who can serve as resource people on the subject in their schools.

August 10 and 11 - TEACHING THE HOLOCAUST AT COMMUNITY COLLEGES
This national conference, the first designed specifically for community college teachers, will focus on methods of teaching the Holocaust in community colleges and will provide a platform for the exchange of ideas and information from Holocaust educators throughout the country.
