AS A Distance Learning (Online) STUDENT:

What is a FULLY ONLINE Course?
A FULLY ONLINE (asynchronous) course is an instructor-designed course that makes maximum use of the Internet. It is neither time nor place bound. You may work at any time of the day or night. Keep in mind that you need to pay attention to course deadlines in order to complete the course successfully. The mechanism for receiving assignments, for turning in assignments, for discussion with your instructor and your fellow students is built into the software (called Blackboard) and is integrated with the course content itself. You may, however, need to come on-campus for an orientation and exams. (Distance Learning Requirements)

Students from other CUNY colleges who wish to take one or more courses at Queensborough should use the E-Permit registration process. Non-CUNY students should contact the Admissions Office at 718-281-5000 to request an application, download a non-degree (pdf) application or apply online.

Non-degree students are not eligible for financial aid and will be billed at the higher tuition rate.
