ROBOTICS CLUB

Robots will inevitably play a vital role in human life. The members of the robotics club work diligently to pool their ideas and opinions towards the study and construction of robots.  While we are very fascinated with discussions, projects and events, we, the members, still recognize other clubs on Campus. We have co-sponsored several events and socialized during club meetings.

The Club plans to pursue the objective of designing and producing a multifunction robot. We have and ordered a number of different robotic kits for our club members to learn from and assemble for this objective.

It is our desire to compete with other Colleges in Robotics Fairs. Since the Technology Faculty has embraced us with support and absolute confidence, the Robotics Club does predict many fruitful days ahead at Queensborough Community College. The Club would also like to thank the Student Government for its support. For further information concerning the Robotics Club you can contact Prof. Sam Cohen in the ECET Department, Room T-17, 718 – 281 - 5247, e-mail scohen@qcc.cuny.edu
