The Queensborough Community College Fund, Inc.
The Queensborough Community College Fund, Inc. is a non-profit organization established in 1975 to raise funds from private sources to advance the educational and cultural programs of Queensborough Community College. Gifts to the QCC Fund bridge the gap between the actual cost of educating students and the funds provided by tuition and by New York State and New York City.
By law, public dollars may not be used for "non-credit" educational, cultural, or community activities that go beyond the instructional programs. Your annual, unrestricted gift enables us to provide support where it is needed most: to offer our students access to outstanding educational and cultural opportunities including: student scholarships, the Art Gallery, Queensborough’s Performing Arts Center (Q-PAC) and the Holocaust Resource Center.
The QCC Fund encourages all donors to become involved with the College as volunteers. Many opportunities are open to friends and alumni, including student mentoring, serving on departmental advisory boards or committees and professional networking.
For more information or a campus tour, please contact Queensborough’s Office of Development and Alumni Relations at (718) 281-5144 or email Alumni@qcc.cuny.edu
Who Contributes to the QCC Fund?
Hundreds of Queens residents, businesses, corporations, banks and private foundations have helped to promote the Fund's objectives through general contributions and gifts for special projects. Contributions are tax-deductible.
How Can You Help?
The Queensborough Community College Fund, Inc. invites your tax-deductible support “To Make a Good College Better.” You may contribute to an unrestricted gift, which will be used for endowment or educational, cultural, and community service projects, or you may earmark a contribution for a specific project on campus.
Other forms of donations to consider include making a bequest in your will, establishing a trust fund, naming QCC as the final beneficiary of a life insurance policy or retirement plan, and gifts of stocks, bonds and other items of value.
The Fund also welcomes pledges over several years.
Whatever the amount, your contribution to the QCC Fund, Inc. is a mark of confidence in the future of the College and the Queens community.
