The Office of Continuing Education offers myriad of programs for the community as part of its mission for Learning for a Lifetime. We offer a trimester range of over 500 courses in Professional Development, Prepatory Skills, Personal Enrichment, Recreation & Sports, Kids College and the 50+ Club. We are an ideal resource for the young learner wishing to enrich their academic studies while attending our recreation program and summer camp; we are perfect for the newly arrived American who seeks to learn language skills to improve their way of life; we provide the ideal setting for professionals trying to upgrade their skills in computers or attain certifications in new, exciting and growth-industry fields; and our offerings in Personal Enrichment & the 50+ Club are continuously evolving to meet the dynamic trends that affect and impact our daily world.

Over 10,000 students enroll in our programs every year. Over 100 faculty teach in our programs. We provide outreach with over 500,000 publications to our public. Our entrepreneurial spirit affords us the opportunity to keep growing and providing what the community seeks. We welcome everyone to take part in what we have to offer. From children to seniors alike, we are the source for Learning for a Lifetime.

Many programs are specifically designed for young people, including: Suzuki violin and cello instruction; Kids College with enrichment and improvement classes, test preparation and specialized high school exams; driver education; Book Club, Game Builders Academy for video game design & robotics, the Oasis Summer Camp & Theatre Workshop, swimming, tennis and other sports training; lifeguard training and competitive swimming and our Chinese Academy.
