Auto Insurance/ Point Reduction - Completion of this certified course for eligibility of a 10% reduction in auto liability and collision insurance rates each year for 3 years, and a reduction of 4 points in penalties on driver's license. 1 session - November 10! Workforce Development Program

IV Technician - Attain training in IV administration via lectures, demonstrations and hands on skills practice sessions. Topics: venous/ vascular anatomy and physiology, complications of IV therapy, fluids and electrolytes. 2 sessions - classes start December 8! Register online and save $20 registration fee!

CUNY TechWorks

Applied Software Development Program

Under the America's Promise CUNY TechWorks Program, Queensborough Community College (QCC) offers an Applied Software Development Training Program, covering web client programming, systems design and implementation, and smart phone application development. This hands-on, tech skills training program culminates in a capstone application development class focused on building students' professional programming portfolios.

Credits earned can be applied towards our AAS degree in Information and Internet Technology. For QCC, CUNY TechWorks is first and foremost an employment and training program. Through regional industry partnerships, we develop internship pathways that provide defined, work-based learning opportunities for participants to gain additional practical experiences.

For art lovers, enroll in our new Art History Series and study the 17th century Dutch artists including Rembrandt Van Rijn, Frans Hals, and Vermeer. Or attend Soul Art: Seeing the World through Colors to transform and explore feelings, spirituality and life through art. Participate in our new BOOKS course and discuss contemporary and classical literature or By the Book, a reading selection of four books over four months. Or write your own story by attending the MEMOIR Workshop. If you want to spruce up your home enroll in Feng Shui to Sell Your Home or Spiffing up for Fall through small but significant changes that will take your home from blah to bingo!
